1. Facial Mask

To a tablespoon of green clay, add half teaspoon each of hazelnut oil, jojoba oil and two drops of lemon essential oil. Make a fine paste of these ingredients and apply the mask for about 10 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.

2. Sunburn Treatment

If you are suffering with sun burns, this technique will help relieve the pain and provides a soothing feel to the skin. Take 4 tablespoons of finely ground oats. To this, add 1 tablespoon of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter, 1 tablespoon of hazelnut oil and 2 tablespoons of pineapple lemon. Apply this paste on the affected areas and leave it to rest for 30 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.

3. Tanning oil

To prevent the skin from tanning, make use of this hazelnut based tanning oil. To 2 spoons of sesame oil, add 2 tablespoons of wheatgerm oil, 2 tablespoons of hazelnut oil, 4 tablespoons of walnut oil, 5 drops of lavender oil and 5 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil. Keep this oil mixture in the refrigerator for about 2-3 months. Use it later as a sunscreen oil.

4. Sunscreen oil

Mix few drops of hazelnut oil with sesame, walnut and avocado and apply it regularly to protect skin from harmful UV rays.

5. Acne Treatment Recipe

Grind a teaspoon of dry hazelnuts coarsely and mix it with ½ teaspoon of coffee powder and sugar. Lastly add olive oil or coconut oil to the mixture and use this scrub to treat acne.
